Happy Birthday Little Sister (Part Three)

Here is the Happy Conclusion to a very lovely Surprise Treasure Hunt I created for my Little Sisters Twenty First Birthday - If you haven't read them yet - Part One && Part Two are here :)

The Last clue spelled out Little Paper Lane && meant she was off to the most loveliest shop on the northern beaches :)

She Arrived to A little Chalk drawing I did (EARLY that morning) && to a very excited Karyn (@sweetnpretty) - Sometimes LPL Shop Assistant, always Rad Baker!

The Final Clue was a BonBon containing a little invitation to Afternoon Tea with the Two people who love her most in the entire world. (Me & Mumma Bear)

When we Arrived up at Mums I was very lucky to capture her reaction as she saw the pot of gold at the end of a very fun rainbow :)

Lots of presents opened && we have one very exhausted but deliriously happy girl (make that two ;))

  

But you didn't think the surprises ended there did you! After telling her we were going out to dinner just the 3 of us - We got dressed & headed out.. and Surprise! Her Favourite Restaurant, A Decorated Table && 9 of her closest Girlfriends.

Oh && we Had Rocky Road Chocolate Cups instead of cake :)

 All in All it was an amazing day && even though it was Weeks of work I had a ball creating all the clues & making it super special - It's easy when you've got a sister as brilliant & beautiful & deserving as mine. xo

Happy Birthday Little Sister (Part Two)

If you haven't already - Read Part one here.

So After the beach Clue We Had a quick Pitstop - which included a Boost Juice && Reading all your beautiful Instagram Comments (the hashtag was #rellesradtastictwentyfirsttreasurehunt) It really made the day even more special having you all following along :)

So this is what was inside that little Bottle buried in the sand.. A Vintage looking Key Keychain Attached to a Tag that read - "Home is Where the Heart is.. Where is your heart?" The Answer? Our New House :)

We Don't have possession of the new house yet - So the next clue was tucked away in the letter box.

It was A Dummy With a clue inside that basically had her time & date of birth on it - Yes you guessed it.. off to the hospital! :)

Waiting at the Enquires Desk at the hospital she was born in was a Beautiful Stuffed Bunny, an It's a Girl! Balloon && the next clue set..

  

Which meant it was off to her favourite bookstore. Berkelouw Books in Mona Vale...

The Clue she was given here was a box with a Library Borrowing Card (The old school ones you found in the front of books) inside && a Call number written on it - This stumped her a little & took a bit of prompting to get there..

At The Library (similar to the beach) we spent a lot of time searching...

&& Searching... (a little sad she can't look up a call number at the library!)

Until she finally found it :) Inside the Secret Book Box was a little Baby skeleton Relle - with a Tag that said "who's got your back" - Our Mum works with a local Chiropractor, so he got in on the fun too!

He'd put some used decorations up (inside joke) && handed her the next clue. Which was Sewn bunting in a tube - Each circle had a letter written on it & the trick was to try & get them all facing the same way..

Happy Birthday Baby Sister. (Part One)

Last week my Beautiful little sister turned 21! She's not a big fan of parties (or surprises for that matter) So I decided to create a little treasure hunt around the Northern Beaches for her. It turned out rather fantastically & she had the greatest time - So I thought I'd share our day here.

The Day Started like any other - there were a few "Happy Birthdays" but nothing special, which is a huge deal because birthdays in our house are like Christmas, Easter & New Years smushed into one. She went off to work like normal && we frantically ran around doing the last minute Tid Bits. At 10:30am we surprised her at work (I'd been secret squirreling with her boss for weeks) with what seemed like an ordinary morning tea. She had no idea she was finished work for the day & about to begin a super special treasure hunt.

 

Inside this first box attached to the balloon was a Dr Seuss Quote (She has all his books) Under some tissue paper in the box was a "21 Today Badge" && A Coffee Cup with a clue inside - it was a "To-Do" List all the items were ticked off except for the last one "Get *insert bosses name* Coffee"

 

 

That Clue led down to the coffee shop underneath her building - the Lovely Lady that runs it was probably just as excited as we were && She handed her the next clue.

 

 

Money with Strings attached.. Now we were off too, yes, the Adult store (this one was all my mothers Idea as my sister is a little shy..) It was funny though && she had to spend all $35 before the guy who owned the store would give her the next clue!

 

She did It though (what she bought will remain secret!) && got her next clue which looked a little like this..

It was a photo of us with our best friends from when we were littlies (who's parents also happen to be our godparents) & on the back it read - "Bike Rides & Barbies - Cricket in the Garden... Sleepovers && Spaghetti, know where you're headed? -- Life is BETTA with Great Friends.." Our Godparents (& their son) own Betta Motors - So off we went!

 

They had Set up a bunch of balloons & hidden the clue in between :) It was a bottle of Tanning oil & A Sun which read - "The Cure for anything is SALTWATER - sweat, tears or THE OCEAN... -- Meet you at our new beach" (we recently bought a house about 3 minutes from a beautiful beach) But before she could work it out we drove away - leaving her - she thought she was going to have to walk & was a little shocked.. but Luke very kindly said he'd give her a lift in his very pretty(?) car :)

 



 

So then we spent a lot of time down at the beautiful Warriewood Beach Digging...
